Welcome to self catering at "Beach Mews" in Torquay, a newly built, two bedroom townhouse, sleeping 4 people. Beach Mews is situated 25 yards from Hesketh Crescent and still only 100 yards from Meadfoot Beach and a short walk from Torquay itself. Beach Mews is set in the peaceful, leafy surroundings of Meadfoot, one of the most beautiful and unspoilt areas of Torquay. Beach Mews is quite literally a stones throw from the front door and is the perfect retreat. Beach Mews is beautifully furnished and comprehensively equipped with a relaxed 'home from home' feel. Beach mews sleeps 4 people, in two bedrooms, one an en-suite.
Beach Mews visitors are only 50 yards from Hesketh Crescent, an impressive & inspiring example of Grade II Regency architecture. There are several restaurants situated in the Crescent where you can enjoy a meal. There is Langtry's, a more formal 'a la carte' restaurant, The Brasserie, a mediterranean style cafe bar and The Terrace, a wonderful outdoor space where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the bay and is open between spring to early autumn. Hesketh Health Club is also located in the Crescent.
A hundred yards away from Beach Mews is Ilsham woods, through which the South West Coast path runs. A stroll through these woods will give you spectacular views of Torbay, Thatcher Rock and lead you to Ilsham valley green, and Wellswood village. | If you would like to take the healthy option, or the children would like to splash around in an indoor pool, then all our holiday guests can take advantage of Hesketh Health Club & tennis court.
There is a large indoor heated swimming pool and a fully equipped gymnasium for you to enjoy as well as a separate cardiovascular room containing the most popular exercise equipment. Following that, you can wind down with a relaxing sauna & swim.
The cost of joining the Health Club is £25.00 per apartment, per week for up to 4 people sharing. For every extra person (in the event of 6 people sharing an apartment), there is an extra payment of £5.00 per person. Payment is made to the The Osborne Hotel directly. You will find a Health Club Card on the notice board of the apartment you are staying in. Please fill in the card and together with your payment, take it to the hotel reception on your arrival. If you would like any more information please email us. Please understand that this facility is charged by The Osborne Hotel and is is not refundable by ourselves. £25 is a fixed fee for between two and seven nights and cannot be discounted.
The tennis court is another leisure facility which you can take advantage of after having already joined the Health Club. You can only book the court on the evening before or morning on the day you wish to play. The cost of the court is £5.00 per hour.
All these facilities are available at Hesketh Crescent, Osborne Hotel. Please go through the gates and the entrance to the leisure centre is approximately 75 yards from the entrance to the grounds.
You will also receive a 10% discount when dining at either The Brasserie or Langtry's Restaurant of the hotel when you join. |

INFANTS - If you need the use of either a cot or high chair, we can provide you with either a rigid full size cot, a travel cot and/or a high chair. We only ask that you supply all the baby bedding yourselves. There is no extra charge for these facilities.
CLEANING AND LINEN - Linen and towels are only changed weekly and apartments are only cleaned by our staff after departure.
SMOKING - In consideration of our non-smoking guests, we regret that Beach Mews is Non Smoking.
PROVIDED - We provide the following: Kitchen: 2 tea towels, 1 kitchen towel roll, washing up liquid, J-cloth and scouring pad, 4 dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee, 2 sachets hot chocolate, sugar (sachets) and 4 small milk pots or a pint of fresh milk & a bottle of wine.
Bathroom: bath towels, hand towels, bath mat, complimentary toiletries together with shower cap and flannel and a toilet roll. Bedroom: hairdryer, iron and ironing board, tissue box in every room
BOOKING - After confirming availability with us by email or phone, we either mail you a booking form and further details or you can download a pdf version of our form. This will need you to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed, This can be completed and mailed back to us. |
